I remember when I was 14 or 15, a school friend of mine has his brother who lived on the same street as I did. We walked into his brothers house where he and his girlfriend lived. I did not know what the bong was on the table but when I knew what they were doing I did not want to be there. I am not sure if I was mildly influenced by the marajuana or not, I did not really stay with them.
When I was doing night club ministries much later on I came to the conviction that if I want to witness to drunks and pot heads I need to invite them somewhere else. We see Jesus Ministering to prostitutes but we don't see Jesus walking up to the Prostitute during the very act of her prostitution. I don't know what the fine line is, but I want to be prayful. I respect that you are in situations where hard questions must be asked and the result if life to life, not death to death for those who are living in death now.
just to stress I didn't plan on getting high and left as soon as we started to feel.... well happy.
on a lighter comment.... HOW FLIPPIN HUGE ARE THE DRINKS!!!!!!!
ive come back to australia, throughly dissaponted that i cant get a 2litre cup of pepsi from a servo, or even a 1.7litre coke with my meal at maccas!... sad days... but its good to hear that god is blessing you... and as for youre stepdown of soldiership, thats a pretty big step to take, possibly bigger then stepping in! but yea, just know that i think you made the decision that was right for you and yea keep following wat gods telling you pete, ive been running from it for too long and the time is comeing closer where i cant run from it anylonger....
