Michael Collins quote
Sunday, November 26, 2006
"An army that doesn't fight is no army at all. And a soldier that doesn't get engaged in what the army is doing is no soldier at all. Fight or Turn in your tunic. We're not looking' for more puffed up numbers, we're looking' for soldiers and warriors that are willing to die for the cause of Jesus Christ. This is an army that does not kill. This is an army that does not take life. This is an army that gives life."
Michael Collins great man of God when I asked him about going to China for the work I do he was the first Salvo to say "go on then" When I tried to get out of it by saying the Salvo's won't let me he simply said "so, do it" (not a direct quote I can't remember the exact words but you get the drift" posted by pete footer at 9:30 PM ::: 1 comments
Employment
This is not like my normal posts.
As most of you probably know I used to live in South Australia Adelaide, I will be heading back there in January for 8 months until then God willing going to War College in Vancouver, Canada (http://www.thewarcollege.com) the college is highly respected around the world and will cost $12,000Aus including the flight. I really feel that God is calling me to learn more about him and to come closer to him so that I can truly used in Asia.
Although I do believe that God can come up with this money (Ephesians 3:20) I am feeling lead to work for this money in order to really appreciate the college and get the most out of it. If all goes well I will work 2-3 jobs for the eight months, if any one knows of any work at all I would love to hear about it.

Jesus camp
Friday, November 24, 2006
Last night I watched a documentary on a group of Christians in America that taught their children to evangelize, pray and speak out against injustice (abortion).
I have never cared for American politics (slightly pro Bush if any one cares) but this group seems to be aimed at praying for and addressing the politicians to the extent of taking there children to Washington to protest and pray.
America has done a lot of bad things in the education system taking prayer, the Ten commandments and bibles out of public schools it seems however that there is still hope for them. I would encourage every one to try to get hold of this documentary it is called Jesus Camp and very encouraging and informative.
On another note I found this blog that drove me to tears please pray for this lady and her son. http://lifewnoah.blogspot.com/ posted by pete footer at 1:04 AM ::: 0 comments
China and the internet
Sunday, November 19, 2006
Try this type "Tienanmen square" into http://google.com and go into the image search"
you will see a picture of an unknown man standing in front of four tanks, this was a picture taken during the Tienanmen square massacre of 1989 since then this picture has been used for many protests and is commonly seen on T-shirts and posters. Do the same search for Tienanmen square in
http://www.google.cn (http://images.google.cn/images?hl=zh-CN&q=tiananmen%20square&btnG=Google+%E6%90%9C%E7%B4%A2&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi)
you will see that the image of the man standing in front of four tanks has been taken out. China apparently has 13,000 internet police working on controlling the internet. In one interview at the Beijing university where the 1989 protest had started four students we're shown this image non of them could tell the interview what it was.

RISE UP CHRISTIANS AND FIGHT
Saturday, November 18, 2006
"At the end of our lives, we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made or how many great things we have done. We will be judged by 'I was hungry and you gave me to eat. I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless and you took me in.'
Hungry not only for bread-but hungry for love.
Naked not only for clothing-but naked of human dignity and respect.
Homeless not only for want of a room of bricks-but homeless because of rejection.
This is Christ in distressing disguise."

North Korea
This is the second time I've spoken out for North Korea and I would encourage every one to read this and to look into helping these people.
Please take time to look at this, as Christians we have to know about this and respond.
http://chosunjournal.com/videos/
Please watch Seoul Train to fully understand the problem.
Seoul Train is a documentary about the North Koreans fleeing their country to get to South Korea they face many problems along the way and many North Koreans do not make it.
"She showed up at a school in a coastal city in China nearly five months ago and begged for help. Instead, she was deported to her native North Korea and never seen again."

Praise God
I would just like to praise God today for what he has done this week in my life.
In the last two days 2,500 books went into China!
Two of the group managed to go into China eight times in one day, this is a new record for the amount of runs in one day. The group that helped us had been working in China, Tibet for three weeks and managed to find two days to help us they were from New Zealand. The six people all started crossing at 7am and most finished at 10pm (some finished at midnight)
About a week ago we installed a new washing machine, the left over box was the perfect size for storing 10 boxes of bibles in. That day by the grace of God 200 books went into China in one run and 350 books that day. This is also a new record.
Praise God that he is taking us to new extremes and that one day soon the job will be finished!!! Then we can move on to North Korea. posted by pete footer at 8:59 AM ::: 0 comments
God using sin
Wednesday, November 01, 2006
Now I don't know how this sit's for some people so I'll just say what happened.
Yesterday I decided it was time to take a big bag through, the boarder has been tight recently so we have been taking smaller bags that have more chance of getting into China unnoticed.
When I got up to the China borderI noticed that every one was being told to put their bags onto the scanner and that they had already caught a group of people taking clothing to sell in Shenzhen. Walking up towards the border God suddenly told me to stop and I soon saw why, A couple with a bag bigger than mine were about to walk through, as they started to walk a big argument started up partially in English mostly in Chinese the guy had been sleeping with his Chinese contact. As they argued they walked right past the scanner me right by their side the whole way the customs officials did not want to get involved with the argument and let us all through. posted by pete footer at 12:09 AM ::: 3 comments
