Just a quick one for every one..
Tracting is a really old way to minister to people every where you go.
It's as simple as putting a short message onto a piece of paper so that every one you give this piece of paper to reads the gospel.
I used to think this was a really ineffective ministry and just plain giving Christians a bad name, for a lot of tracers I still think that but now I have found some really good tracts that could help change some ones life.
I have placed a new link to it so that you might start doing it. posted by pete footer at 4:12 PM ::: 2 comments
to tired to pray
Wednesday, March 29, 2006
Just got back from an over night prayer meeting at the Hong Kong Prayer Tower, there has been 24.7 prayer there for 1 year now and it was amazing, Gods presence was certainly there.
Hong Kong is looking at a revival that will flow through all of Hong Kong the key is unity in Christ among the churches.
This whole really convicted me and I thought I should share.
I have spent all night watching movies before, I have spent all night talking with friends a whole lot of times and certainly I have spent the whole night sleeping but very rarely do I spend a whole night to just sit and pray to God thanking him for his goodness and grace.
When you think about this it is really such a huge compromise when we are putting movies, exam studies, friends and sleep in front of the only thing that truly matters knowing and loving God.
This is some thing I plan to change and plan to spend a whole lot more time with God. posted by pete footer at 8:57 AM ::: 0 comments
please pray
Monday, March 27, 2006
As I said in my last blog Hong Kong believes a lot of lies about the condition of China and needs to be woken up. Please pray for the Hong Kong churches that as unity starts to come that they will also start to take bibles to China and also minister to Chinese people as I believe is the responsibility of Hong Kong.
Last night it was mentioned that Hong Kong has 1,000 churches so on an estimate of 100 people per a church there are 100,000 Chinese Christians living in Hong Kong that are capable of not only couriering bibles into China but also ministering to the Chines.
China is saving an estimate of 5,000 people a day, we take roughly 200 bibles in a day it doesn't take much math to realise that we need the 100,000 Chinese in Hong Kong to help us meet the needs of China (roughly 50million bibles in demand) if every Hong Kong christian took just 20 bibles we would see 20,00,000 bibles in a day more than we do in a whole year!

revival in Hong Kong
Just got back from a unity meeting in Hong Kong, it was not like any meeting I had ever been to before. In the past due to western "invasion" denominations have been very closed to each other, but one year ago a lady had a vision to open up a 24/7 prayer tower to pray for revival and unity in Hong Kong, since then it has grown into a continues prayer meeting run by 60 different churches all coming together to pray for Hong Kong.
After the meeting we met up with a few of the Hong Kong citizens and after a while realised a few things..... Hong Kong has brought into a lie of the Devil that it is dangerous to take bibles into China when it is actually rather safe, they also believe (as do a lot of the west) that bibles are no longer needed in China and can be purchased from any bookstore in China. posted by pete footer at 12:55 AM ::: 2 comments

Healing
Met up with a new member of the church today and prayed over his leg for complete healing (he has been crippled since the age of 4) It accord to me that us Australians seem to depend on hospitals before we depend on God, over here in China people don't have health cover and have to depend on God a whole lot more I think this is probably a much better health plan. posted by pete footer at 2:00 AM ::: 0 comments

The Sally army in china
Have just found out that The Salvation Army is on the board of Amity printing, Amity print create 3million bibles for China a year to sell to the three self patriotic movement (TSPM).
3million bibles a year is great... if your a registered church member and will obey the communist rules of church (don't preach or minister to any one under 18, don't minister outside the church)
Although I openly love and support the effort made by this movement it has certanly suprised me that the Salvation Army is a key role in this communist organisation (especialy since I like to think of my self as a worker for the Salvation Army) posted by pete footer at 9:38 AM ::: 1 comments
14 boxes 280"bread"
An amazing day 2day was able to take 4 big bags through with 2 people, generally you can't take these bags across this boarder but we had been praying earlier and felt confident about it.
Got to the boarder and went straight through as a group!!! this is incredible as it is generally a really silly thing to do but God is great and offered us some of his amazing grace!!
Praise God for his mighty miracles we walked straight through the boarder with out being stopped..... One person was stopped the Hong Kong citizen who had to go through a different custumns in order to get through (as she is Chinese) however this is great as now she can tell all of the other Hong Kong Christians to come and take bibles into China as it is safe.
Please pray that the Hong Kong church will wake up to the need for Bibles in China and start taking bibles also posted by pete footer at 9:12 AM ::: 0 comments
